Did you know that certain foods actually help to eliminate mucus, thus doing the work of a cold or other illness? These foods include daikon or any radish, cauliflower, garlic, celery, onion, asparagus, bamboo shoots, grapefruit, lime, lemon, kumquat, green vegetables, and oranges. It is smart to add such items in your diet whenever possible.
